Entwined
A whole lot of time has passed away
This longing for you, It has grown.
Could it be when only a few months ago
To me you were a stranger unknown?
The months they don't matter, a tiny voice says,
My heart it has never been so content.
It rejoices each time, I do see you smile
Remembering, each moment with you it has spent.
Our lives they have crossed and entwined into one
One from another can't they separate.
I marvel at the thought, of having you near
For next April to come, I cannot wait.
For now I do sigh, in waiting for you
This time, spent it is in sweet remembrance.
For six months have gone by, another six to get by,
Until our life together, it shall commence.
